CARLA CUCUMBER’S CREAM CHEESE DIP
WITH RAINBOW VEGGIE STICKS
Wake up from your sleep, don’t be in a slumber
Awaiting are carrot, celery, cucumber
So roll up your sleeves, there’s no time for tricks
This recipe is quite simply some veggie sticks
Gather them up there’s such a selection
Crunchy, tasty, it’s almost perfection
Finally place them into your dip
And enjoy the sensation as they pass through your lips difficulty
Ingredients:
- 125g cream cheese
- ¼ cucumber
- 2 tablespoons of Greek yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon sweet chilli sauce
- A few chives
- Selection of colourful vegetables cut into sticks or chunks, such as carrot, red, yellow or orange pepper, cucumber, mange tout, broccoli, cauliflower, radish, celery or baby corn.
Method:
To get started you need to wash your hands and pop an apron on.
Now, carefully cut the cucumber in half, asking your adult helper to help.
Then use a teaspoon to scoop out the seeds from the middle.
Put a grater onto a chopping board and grate the cucumber. Put into a
mixing bowl and add the cream cheese, yoghurt and sweet chilli sauce.
Using a pair of scissors, snip the chives into small pieces. Mix everything
together to give you a smooth creamy dip.
Hooray, you can use your selection of bright and colourful vegetable
sticks to scoop up the creamy dip
