Choccy banana & strawberry bites

Welcome to this week’s Saturday Kitchen recipe! πŸ§‘‍🍳
This week we have a fun fruity treat to enjoy any time of day.
·       2 large bananas 🍌
·       150g strawberries πŸ“ 
·       150g dark or milk chocolate 🍫
To decorate:
·       Chopped nuts, freeze-dried raspberry pieces or cake decorating sprinkles
Peel the bananas and cut them into bite-size chunks. Put them in a single layer onto a small baking tray lined with baking parchment. Remove the stalks from the strawberries and place on the tray.
Put in the freezer for about 45 minutes to chill but not freeze. ❄️
Break the chocolate into small pieces and put in a heatproof bowl with a little oil. Gently melt in the microwave (careful not to burn) or over a pan of gently simmering water. 🍫
Remove the bananas and strawberries from the freezer and dip or drizzle the chocolate over the fruit. πŸ˜‹
Sprinkle over your topping of choice before the chocolate sets. We recommend chopped nuts, freeze-dried raspberry pieces or sprinkles! 😁
The chocolate will set almost straight away, and they are ready to eat! 🀀
Keep cool in the fridge if you are not eating them all at once πŸ’›
