Morning Routine

Welcome back to another Wellness Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Your day can be influenced by the way you start your morning, and a good morning routine is a great way to prepare for the rest of the day. โ˜€๏ธ

So, we have a few steps we think you should include in your morning routine to make sure you start the day on a positive note!

Here they are:

๐Ÿ› Make your bed (something Sammy may need to work on more.) This is great for a few reasons.
1. It Could make you more productive. ๐Ÿ›
2. A tidy room encourages a tidy mind ๐Ÿง 
3. Means you can get back into a nicely made bed at the end of the day! This can improve your quality of sleep, which is very important! ๐Ÿ˜ด

๐Ÿ‘• When getting dressed, make sure to wear something you love! (We love Orange today) ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ’ฆ Drink water (hydrating is so important in the morning)

๐Ÿ“ฑ No screen time until after breakfast (This enables us to really concentrate on what we eat)

๐Ÿšฟ All self-care jobs ticked and asking for help when needed.

๐ŸŒณ Step outside for a few minutes, if possible, to get some movement and fresh air (with a grown-up in charge.) Examples: going for a walk, playing outdoor games.

๐Ÿง˜ Create positive thoughts for the day by taking deep breaths and concentrating on things that make you feel happy. Or if you have time write down a few things you are grateful for in a journal.
